K-12 School Programs

  • Persuasive/Argumentative writing assignment (high school level)
  • Descriptive writing assignments:
    • Listening and Imagining (grade school level)
    • Writing New Mexico (middle school level)

The Making of America

• With over 3 million pages of scanned images and text, The Making of America is "a digital library of primary sources in American social history from the antebellum period through reconstruction. The collection is particularly strong in the subject areas of education, psychology, American history, sociology, religion, and science and technology." You can find New Mexico references there. Try searching for a term such as Albuquerque or pueblos.
